Ideal for meetings of any size, our spacious and versatile Orchard Event Center features high ceilings, exposed beams, and abundant natural light. Sliding glass walls open to an expansive patio along Lake Mishkin. Just outside, the 4,000-square-foot Orchard Event Lawn has permanent in-ground stakes to allow a quick tent set-up.

Tucked away beyond the cover of Tennessee’s tall native grasses, The Hearth is the ideal hideaway to enjoy the sky views afforded by one of Southall’s planned wide open outdoor spaces. Just a short stroll from the Inn’s back patios, this quiet spot features a wood-burning stone fireplace surrounded by comfortable fireside seating and counter seating under cover. Bring your favorite beverage, book (and cigar?) to enjoy both solitude and conversation.

This lovely outdoor space located adjacent the property’s elegant Orchard Event Center features an outdoor fireplace, a well-manicured lawn and lovely views of Lake Mishkin. The Patio is a perfect addition to meetings planned for the Orchard Event Center, affording guests both indoor and outdoor gathering spaces. The Patio can also be booked independently for groups of up to 80 people.

Set away from the Inn and Cottages alongside the Orchard Event Center, this versatile space was designed to accommodate outdoor or tented events for discerning guests. Whether under tents or in the open air, guests of the Event Center Lawn will appreciate views of Lake Mishkin, and the orchard – and will have access to all the amenities in the Orchard Event Center. Ethereal under blue skies or moonlight, events on our Lawn are always memorable.

Tucked away just beyond the Covered Bridge Trail, Southall’s nod to the glamor and intrigue of America’s speakeasies is truly a delight. The lush, elegant decor and period furnishings – carefully selected by Laura Mishkin – invite meeting and event guests to relax, unwind and lean into the art of conversation and celebration. Private outdoor spaces can also be part of the Dottie’s event experience.

Located inside the Inn near our two restaurants, this conference-ready space is warmed by natural light through three windowed walls. Tulip Poplar features a beautiful natural wood table that seats up to 12 attendees comfortably. It’s perfect for both private business meetings as well as intimate celebrations.

Positioned near the heart of the farm, adjacent to the greenhouse conservatories, the Jammery invites up to 24 guests or attendees to gather around to share ideas, plans and food experiences through custom programming. Filled with light and wonderful aromas, the Jammery also affords access to the outdoors on a patio and lawn.

Elevate your event to the highest venue available at Southall. Your guests will adore the awe-inspiring panoramic views seen from our Hilltop Pavilion. A guest favorite, this private space offers a cantilevered deck and outdoor cooking area. The Pavilion accommodates up to 75 guests. Additional space for up to 150 guests is available on the adjacent 7,500 square foot lawn.

Exclusive and cozy, the dark interior of this one-of-kind private space lures guests in with the sparkle of table lighting and comfortable velvet chairs. Perfect for card games, crafts and our honey tasting experiences, The Hive is tucked away atop Dottie’s. Your guests will absolutely adore any event hosted in The Hive.

Situated along the peaceful waters of Lake Mishkin, this lovely space was designed with large events in mind. Perfect for live music events and weddings, the Amphitheater brings up to 350 guests together against the backdrop of Southall’s rolling countryside.

Situated in the midst of the greenhouse conservatories, this space accommodates up to 150 standing guests outdoors and 90 seated. Our custom Adirondack chairs made with Tennessee sassafras entice guests to sit back and relax. The Rambling Pad is perfect for welcome receptions and picnics with live music, as well as late night celebrations after the party.

Located near Lake Mishkin on the old Covered Bridge Trail, the Covered Bridge is a unique and charming backdrop for a small meeting, welcome reception, or intimate dinner.

Sacred, peaceful and private, The Sundial overlooks our apple orchard and affords guests stunning property views from sunrise to sunset. Perched atop Southall’s northern ridge, this is the perfect venue for an intimate reception for up to 30 attendees or for a transformative yoga experience.
